As a web content developer for almost a decade, I started my business, Revolutionary Writing Profesionals, to create original content for websites, newsletters, press releases, blogs, articles and advertising and marketing materials based on the requirements of a client/organization.
What is your motivation?
The motivation behind your business cannot be overstated. Through motivation, the top management is able to guide your business to achieve its objectives promptly. Motivation acts as the psychological catalyst that employees and owners require reaching the goal.
Being motivated to work entails the enjoyment of the work itself and the desire to achieve certain goals. Interest and concern for your business as well as commitment/enthusiasm towards achieving company goals are some of the most common characteristics of business motivation.
Does success look like to you?
Success may vary depending on your business and the entrepreneurs. As a Web Content Developer, for example, success entails serving clients comprehensively in terms of creating and updating content for their websites.
Although a factor on its own, success depends on many other sub-factors like staying organized, keeping detailed records, analyzing competition and being innovative.
What will set you apart?
In most cases, there will always be other players in the market with similar business ideas and already existing businesses. Creativity and innovation are hence important factors for consideration after starting a business and will often go together.

These are the beliefs and attitudes that you and your staff have in common in the workplace like how work should be done or how staff should treat each other at work.
Your business’ standards of behavior like acceptable business practice and customer service values also amount as examples of business values. Implementation of business values is as important as developing them as it creates uniformity in your business and a common, easily achievable goal.

Record keeping is fundamental to any business. Being organized helps you to complete tasks with ease and within a stipulated period. Keeping records also enables you to maintain integrity and accountability.
By keeping detailed records, you'll know where the business’ position financially and the potential challenges you could be facing. This, in turn, enables you to work efficiently and solve challenges timely.
